Spinach terrine

Delicious, super fast!

  • 500 g frozen spinach
  • an onion
  • two cloves of garlic

RECIPE PREPARATION Terina with spinach:

Peel onions and garlic and grind in a food processor. Heat the oil in a saucepan and cook the onion and garlic until soft, then add the spinach and half a cup of milk. Leave it on the fire for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add salt, pepper and paprika. Remove the pan from the heat and leave to cool slightly. Add the diced bell pepper, chopped cheese with a fork and beaten eggs with the rest of the milk. Wallpaper a cake tray with baking paper and pour the composition. Put the tray in the hot oven over medium heat and leave until it cools well, about 45 minutes. Check with a toothpick.

Then pour the terrine on a plate and leave to cool.

Instead of onions you can put 2 leeks cut into thin slices.


The terrine is served with French bread.


Vitamin C contained in red bell pepper helps the body absorb as much iron from spinach as possible.

  • Before you chop the tomatoes for the chicken dish with spinach, you can peel them. To make this as easy as possible, boil a saucepan of water and when it starts to boil, scald the tomatoes (put them in hot water and take them out in five seconds).
  • You can use in the preparation 1 bunch of green onions and 1 bunch of green garlic.
  • If you want to add a special taste and texture to the dish, add a diced sweet potato.

Terrine with spinach, cheese, leeks and bell peppers

The spinach terrine can be served as an elegant first course or it can be part of a cocktail menu, along with saltines or slices of French bread.


    1 tablespoon olive oil 2 leeks, cut into 1 cm pieces 2 cloves garlic, crushed 500 g cleaned spinach 1 cup whole milk 2 suitable red bell peppers, cleaned of seeds, cut into 0.5 cm pieces salt and black pepper 1 teaspoon paprika 1 cup partially skimmed mozzarella cheese, crumbled 5 large eggs

Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Grease a cake pan (23 x 13 cm) with a little oil. Wallpaper the tray with waxed paper. Grease the paper with oil.

In a large Teflon pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the leeks and garlic. Bake for 7 minutes, until soft. Put in a large bowl.

Wash the spinach, leaving a little water on the leaves. Put in the same pan, at the right heat. Cover and cook for 2 minutes. Put in a bowl.

The mixture of leeks and spinach is mixed in a food processor, together with 1/4 cup of milk, until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Put it back in the bowl. Add peppers, salt, paprika, black pepper and cheese.

In a small bowl, beat the eggs and mix with 3/4 cup of milk. Add to the spa-nac mixture. The composition is poured into the cake pan. Place the tray in a large baking dish, half filled with hot water.

Bake for 1 hour. Remove the tray from the water bowl. Leave the terrine to cool. Keep in the fridge until served.

To serve, turn the terrine on a plate and remove the paper.

Chicken meatballs with spinach - Baby recipes over 10 months

You need ½ chicken breast, green garlic, 100 g of boiled spinach, 1 egg, 1 large potato, oatmeal, greens (dill), salt and pepper.

Boil the spinach and squeeze the water well. Separately boil the potatoes in their skins. Mix the spinach with the chopped chicken breast, the peeled and mashed potatoes, the greens and the garlic. Then add the egg and oatmeal so you can shape the meatballs.

Start the oven at medium temperature, and prepare a tray, greased with olive oil in which you will place the meatballs, and put them in the oven for 20-25 minutes, until they brown nicely.

You can serve them with a yogurt sauce with greens, or a mashed potato.
